What is a contract bicycle?
A contract bicycle is a bicycle or electric assisted bicycle that is hired by the employer for the use of the employee. After the rental period, the employee can buy the bike for himself by paying 4% of the residual value of the bike. The rent of a company bike, typically €100/month, is deducted from the employee’s salary each month.
